Q. What are your hours? A. Mon – Fri 7am – 7pm (closed from 12-2 pm) Saturday 9-5 Sunday 8:30-10am & 3:30-5pm
Q. What are your Drop Off times? A. 7 am – 11 am or 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Q. What time can I pick up my dog(s)? A. Daycare: Anytime between the hours of 7 – 12 am or 2 – 7 pm. Over Night: Before 10 am = no additional charge. Between 10 am & 2 pm = $12 for a ½ of daycare After 2 pm = $18 for a full day for daycare. Sunday Afternoon Pick Up (3:30 – 5pm) = $12
Q. What are the benefits of Doggie Daycare at La Dee Dogs? A. Exercise – Socialization – Training - Friends and lots of love and attention. Our guests are tired & happy when they go home. A Tired Dog is a Happy Dog! Daycare is a great alternative to staying home all alone.
Q. What does a normal day of Doggie Daycare consist of? A. Lots of Play and Attention! Our pack plays ALL morning both with each other and our loving and attentive staff. At Noon we start “Quiet Time”. The lights are dimmed and for the dogs listening pleasure we turn on their favorite classical music. At 2 pm Quite Time ends and the fun begins! We serve dinner at 5:30 pm and keep everything fairly calm for the remainder of the evening.
Q. How often do the dogs go outside? A. It all depends upon the weather, but on average the group goes out about 2 times an hour. When the weather permits, we have been known to spend a good portion of the day outdoors.
Q. What are the requirements to join Daycare and or Over Night Care? 1) Dogs over 6 months of age must be fixed 2) Puppies and recently adopted dogs must be in the home for 4 weeks prior to joining our fun. 3) Owners must certify that their dog(s) have not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behavior towards any person or other dog(s). 4) All dogs must be current with the following vaccinations: Distemper/ Parvo, Rabies (by 4 months of age) & Bordatella. 5) Owners will need to certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill in the last 30 days. 6) All dogs must be on a monthly flee and tick prevention program. 7) A completed application is required from each guest. You can download this application from the registration page of our website or pick up an application at our store. 8) Please schedule a time to come and take a tour with your dog. During this time we will go over your application and to get to know your dog(s).
Q. What are the age requirements? All dogs must be 4 months of age and current on all vaccinations. Q. Do you offer ½ Day Daycare visits? A. We Do! A half day consists of 4 hours of play for $12.
Q. Do La Dee Dogs guest receive treats? A. This decision is up to the customer. When completing the application for enrollment, you will be asked if your dog(s) can have treats and about any food allergies your dog(s) might have. You are welcome to bring in Fido favorite treats; we will put them in their cubby and give him or her one or two at quite time.
Q. What should my dog bring for his first day of Doggie Daycare? A. Their collar & leash are required and the rest is up to you. Feel free to pack a small lunch if you think Fido will be a little hungry at noon. Some parents bring a Tupperware or baggie with enough food for the next 5 – 10 visits.
Q. How much notice do we need to attend? A. Please call the night before if possible. During the holiday season, please plan ahead as we fill up fast.
Q. My dog is having a slumber party at La Dee Dogs (staying Over Night) what should I bring? A. Each dog needs to bring their own food and the rest is up to you. You are more than welcome to use our crates and bedding or if you think Fido would be more comfortable in his or her own crate, please feel free to bring that too.
Q. Can we bring our crate when staying Over Night? A. You bet.
Q. Do you charge extra to administer medicine? A. No.
Q. Do the Doggie Daycare Packages expire? A. No, use your play dates when it works with you and your dog’s schedule.
Q. Do you give a discount for a 2nd dog? A. Yes, please see our pricing page.
Q. Do you offer a discount for extended stays? A. When your dog is staying Over Night for an extended stay please ask for our discount.
Q. Can my Dog get a bath while visiting? A. No problem, just ask.
Q. Can you trim my dog’s nails? A. Woof – I mean yes.
Q. My dog pads (feet) seem to be a little dry, is this normal? A. During the summer months the dogs that do lots and lots of running outside do tend to get dry pads. With each visit your dog’s feet will soon get adjusted to the rock. We do keep the rock wet during the hot summer days.
Q. What toys do you sell for aggressive chewers? A. Good Question. Our absolute strongest and toughest toy, (which has been tested by all of the dogs in our daycare) is the GoughNut. And the second runner up in the toughness toy category, are the Hurley’s & Huck’s from West Paw, they are floatable, durable and guaranteed.
